Let the radius of the cone be r inches.
Volume of cone = $fraction numerator 1 over denominator 3 end fraction cross times pi cross times r to the power of 2 end exponent cross times h$
475.16 = $fraction numerator 1 over denominator 3 end fraction cross times 3.141592 cross times r to the power of 2 end exponent cross times 15$
r² = 30.25
r = 5.5 inches
Diameter = radius × 2
= 5.5 × 2
= 11
