A movie theatre has 9 rows of seats. In each row, there are 11 seats. The total seats in the movie theatre is?

multiply the number of rows with the number of seats in each row.
The correct answer is: 99
Number of rows = 9
Each row = 11 seats
9 × 11 = 99
99 seats are there in the theatre.
This can be solved by unitary method. This method says that if we know the value of an entity corresponding to a certain value, we can find the value of the same entity corresponding to the multiple of the same value.
Number of rows = 9
Number of seats in each row = 11
Total number of seats = 9 x 11 = 99
