      We know, 1 g = 1000mg
      38 fraction numerator 1 over denominator 2 end fraction g = 38 × 1000 + fraction numerator 1 over denominator 2 end fraction × 1000
      = 38000 + 500
      = 38500mg

      38 ½ gm = (2x 38 + 1)/ 2 = 77/2 gm
      1 gm = 1000 mg
      77/2 gm = 77/2 x 1000 = 38500 mg
