    Determine the solutions of the quadratic equation x2-10x+25=0 by factorisation.

    1. x = 5
    2. x = 2
    3. x = 3
    4. x = 2, x = 5

    The correct answer is: x = 5

      On solving the Quadratic equation :-
      x2-10x+25=0
      By splitting the middle term, we get
      x2-5x-5x+25=0
      x(x-5)-5(x-5)=0  (taking common and factorizing)
      (x-5)(x-5)=0
      x-5=0 or x-5=0
      x=5, 5
