      Thus, we divide the above shape into a rectangle of sides 2in.cross times 9in and square of side 3in, each
      Area of rectangle = 9 × 2 = 18 square inches
      Area of a square = 3 × 3 = 9 square inches
      Total area = Area of rectangle + Area of a square
      Total area = 18 + 9 = 27 square inches
