    The correct answer is: 35 sq. units

      Coordinates of A, B, C, D are (2, 3), (5, 3), (5, -4), (2, -4) respectively.
      Length of AB = open vertical bar 5 close vertical bar minus open vertical bar 2 close vertical bar
      = 5 - 2
      = 3
      Length of BC = open vertical bar negative 4 close vertical bar plus open vertical bar 3 close vertical bar
      = 4 + 3
      = 7
      So, area = Length × Breadth
      = 5 × 7
      = 35 sq. units
