The correct answer is: 2 units to the right and 1 unit down the parent function


    The parent function was g(x)=3x2
    g(x)=3(x-2)2+1 has +2 and -1 which are the x-intercept and y-intercept respectively.
    x-2=0 rightwards double arrowx=2
    So each coordinate including the vertex, and therefore the whole graph is shifted 2 units to the right and 1 units downward.
