The correct answer is:
GIVEN- p(x) = 3x TO FIND- Graph of the given function. SOLUTION- Since we have a function representing exponent of 3, the solution of y-coordinate can never be negative because 3 raised to any power cannot be negative. Hence, options c & d are eliminated. For x = 1, p(x) = 31 = 3 Hence, the graph of p(x) should have point (1,3) on it. Hence, option a is also eliminated as it does not have (1,3) on the graph. Hence, option b is the correct option. FINAL ANSWER- Option 'b' is the correct answer to the given question.
