Question
The mostly played mobile game Pokémon Go completed it’s five years. In the first year the downloads were 0.7 million, in the second year the downloads were 1.4 million, in the next year the downloads were 2.1 million. The probable downloads by the end of 4th year would be
- 2.4 million
- 2.5 million
- 2.8 million
- 3.0 million
Hint:
Carefully see is there any pattern like increasing or decreasing series.
The correct answer is: 2.8 million
Solution :
Downloads in 1st year = 0.7 million
Downloads in 2nd year = 1.4 million
Downloads in 3rd year = 2.1 million
If you carefully observe there is a difference of 0.7 million, it means downloads were increasing by 0.7 million every year.
So, as per above series
Downloads in 4th year = download in 3rd year + 0.7 million = 2.1 + 0.7 = 2.8 million
So, there will be 2.8 million downloads in 4th year.

Solution :
Cost of 1 dozen of apple = $1.89
Cost of 1 dozen of banana = $0.90
Cost of 1 dozen of dragon fruits = $6.00
Compare and eliminate,
out of apples and bananas, bananas are cheap so apple get eliminated.
