3x - 5y = 4

Here we have to solve the system.
Firstly, we are given with equation which is ,
3x – 5y = 4 …(i)
y = -2 …(ii)
Use substitution method,
Put y = -2 in equation (1), or we can say
Substituting y from (ii) in (i), we get
3x – 5(-2) = 4
3x + 10 = 4
x = -2
Therefore, x = -2 and y = -2.
The correct answer is ( -2 , -2)
In this question, we have already given the value of y. Using substitution, method we are easily to solve this particular problem.
