In the question it is given that,
The art teacher had 3 boxes of crayons.
Each box had 12 crayons.
Here, we have to find the total number of crayons the art teacher had.
The total number of crayons the teacher had= 12×3 = 36 crayons.
So, the total number of crayons the teacher had is 36.
Therefore, the correct option is d, i.e., 36.
For simple multiplication we have to remember the multiplication table of one-digit numbers and for two-digit number we can find it using the multiplication table of one-digit numbers. Here, we have to find the product of one digit number.
