It is also known as a method of finding product of two or more numbers by multiplying them. Here, we have to find the solve the word problem using multiplication.

In the question it is given that,
Number of decorated walls = 3
Number of posters hang on each wall = 7
Here, we have to find the total number of posters the teacher hang in all.
Total number of posters used = 7×3 = 21.
So, the teacher hang 21 posters in total.
Therefore, the correct option is c, i.e., 21.
For simple multiplication we have to remember the multiplication table of one-digit numbers and for two-digit number we can find it using the multiplication table of one-digit numbers. Here, we have to find the product of one digit number.
