There are 5000 oranges with a farmer. If he can pack 50 oranges in a box. The number of boxes does he needs in total is ________.

    In this question we have to find out how many box will the farmer need to pack all the 5000 oranges

    STEP BY STEP SOLUTION 

    50 oranges = 1 box 
    1 orange =1/50 box 
    so, to pack 5000 oranges 
    total box=  5000 cross times1/50 
    total box= 5000/50
    total  box = 100
    So, the farmer will need 100 boxes to pack 5000 oranges
