The cost of 2 $1 half$ m of cloth is Rs.175 $3 over 4$ . Find the cost of cloth per meter.

Perform division and thus find the cost of 1 m cloth.

The correct answer is: 70.3

Given that the cost of 2.5 m of cloth = 175.75 Rs
To find the cost of cloth per meter.
So, 2.5 m = 175.75 Rs
On dividing both the sides by 2.5, we get $fraction numerator 2.5 over denominator 2.5 end fraction equals fraction numerator 175.75 over denominator 2.5 end fraction$
$not stretchy rightwards double arrow 1 equals 703 over 10 equals 70.3$
Hence cost of cloth per meter = $703 over 10$ Rs
