A Conical tent is to accommodate 77 persons. Each person must have 16 cubic metre of air to breathe. Given the radius of the tent as 7 m. Find the height of the tent and also its C.S.A?

    So, Total volume require will be

    equals 77 cross times 16 straight m cubed
    equals 1232 m cubed
    Now,

    1 third pi 7 squared cross times h equals 1232
    h equals fraction numerator 3696 over denominator 7 pi end fraction
    = 168.06m
    Now the CSA will be

    CSA = 2πrh

    = 2π(7)(168.06)

    = 7394.64m2
