Question

ABCD is a Parallelogram. If

  1. 1900
  2. 1300
  3. 1200
  4. 1700

hintHint:

A parallelogram is a geometric object with sides that are parallel to one another in two dimensions. It is a form of polygon with four sides (sometimes known as a quadrilateral) in which each parallel pair of sides have the same length. Here we have given a parallelogram and we have to find the angle B.

The correct answer is: 1300

A quadrilateral with two sets of parallel sides is referred to as a parallelogram. In a parallelogram, the opposing sides are of equal length, and the opposing angles are of equal size. Additionally, the interior angles that are additional to the transversal on the same side. 360 degrees is the total of all interior angles.
If ABCD is a parallelogram, where AB || CD and AD || BC, then
AB = CD and AD = BC
    ∠A = ∠C & ∠B = ∠D
Additionally, because A and D are internal angles that are on the same side of the transversal, they are supplementary angles. B and C are additional angles in the same way.
    So therefore, we get:
    ∠A + ∠B = 180
    ∠C + ∠D = 180
We have given A as 50, so we get B as:
    50 + ∠B = 180
    ∠B = 130

Here we used the concept of the parallelograms, and also the property of interior angles on the same side of transversal. A parallelogram is a two-dimensional shape with four parallel sides that is equal on both sides. So the angle B is 130 degree.
