We know that

Length of the longest pole = length of diagonal = √ (l^{2} + b^{2} + h^{2})

By substituting the values

Length of the longest pole = √ (5^{2} + 12^{2} + 7^{2})

So we get

Length of the longest pole = √ (25 + 144 + 49)

By addition

Length of the longest pole = √ 218 m

Base area = lb=12×7=84 m^{2}

Therefore, cost of flooring = 84×2=Rs.168.
