In this question, we have to find the value of x using the figure given. For that first we will draw a line parallel to both line passing through the intersecting point of the transversal. Later using the angle properties of parallel line we can find the required value of x.

The correct answer is: 70°

Drawn a line parallel AB and CD passing through O.
As AB II OE and AO is a transversal
So, $angle$ OAB + $angle$ AOE = 180 $degree$
$rightwards double arrow$ $angle$ AOE $degree$ + 140 $degree$ = 180 $degree$
$rightwards double arrow$ $angle$ AOE = 40 $degree$
Also, CD II OE and OC is a transversal.
So, $angle$ EOC + $angle$ OCD = 180 $degree$
$rightwards double arrow$ $angle$ EOC + 150 $degree$ = 180 $degree$
$rightwards double arrow$ $angle$ EOC = 30 $degree$
Hence, x = $angle$ AOE + $angle$ EOC = 40 $degree$ + 30 $degree$ = 70 $degree$
