Question

In the figure above, straight angle A B C equals straight angle Y X Z equals 90 to the power of ring operator and BC = XZ. What additional information is required to make  ABC ⩭  YXZ by RHS congruence condition?

From the RHS rule, figure out the additional information.

The correct answer is: RHS congruence rule.


    RHS congruence rule (Right angle - Hypotenuse - Side)
    Two right angles are congruent if the hypotenuse and one side of first triangle are
    respectively equal to the hypotenuse and one side of the second triangle.
    Here,
    straight angle B equals straight angle X equals 90 to the power of ring operator (given)
    BC = XZ (given)
    We need AC = YZ (hypotenuse) to make ΔABC ⩭ ΔYXZ by RHS congruence rule.
