Extended CD to G so that it intersect EB at F

Now, GD II AB and EB is transversal

So, EFG = EBA =140 [corresponding angles]

Also, As GD is a straight line.

ECG + ECD = 180 [sum of angles in a straight line is 180 ]

ECG + 105 = 180

ECG = 75

In ECF,

FEC + ECF = EFG [exterior angle is equal to sum sum of interior opposite angles ]

x + 75 = 140

x = 65
