In a classroom then are 45 students in which 30 are boys are rest are female, find the ratio of number of girls to the number of boys.

The correct answer is: 1:2


    Total number of students =45
    Number of boys =30
    ∴ Number of girls =45-30⇒15.
    ∴ Ratio of number of girls to number of boys
    equals fraction numerator text  No. of girls  end text over denominator text  No. of boys  end text end fraction
    not stretchy rightwards double arrow 15 over 30
equals 1 half
    i. e, Ratio is 1 : 2
