Question

# In the given figure , and . find

Hint:

### As we know AB = AC and AC = DC we find ∠ ACB and ∠ DCA.

And add them to get ∠ BCD

## The correct answer is: ∠ BCD = 70°

### In ADC, we know AC = AD

∠ DCA = ∠D ( angles opposite to equal sides are equal)

∠ DCA = 47° (given, ∠ D = 47°)

In ABC, we know AC = AB

∠ BCA = ∠ B ( angles opposite to equal sides are equal)

∠ BCA = 23° (given, ∠ B = 23°)

From diagram we get

∠ BCD = ∠ BCA + ∠ DCA

∠ BCD = 23° + 47°

∴∠BCD = 70°

In ABC, we know AC = AB

From diagram we get
