Charmin wanted to estimate the product of 73 × 12 so she made a word problem of 70 × 10. Would her estimate be more or less than the actual estimate?

Then, we are going to find the actual estimate product values which is:
73 x 12 = 876
Now, compare the Actual and estimated product value,
876 > 700
So, The actual value is greater than the estimated value.
Therefore, the estimated number is less than the actual number because she round up the down from the actual numbers.
