    ∴ a cubed = 8 .......…................................ (Volume of a cube = a cubed)
    ∴ a = 2 ................... (Taking cube roots both the sides) .................. (Equation i)
    Since the height, width and length of a cube are all equal,
    depth of the given cubical swimming pool = a = 2m
    ∴ Depth of the given swimming pool is 2m.
