The roots of this outstanding university were established 160 years ago, but Concordia University was formed on August 24, 1974. This university was created by fraternizing two other prestigious educational institutions, namely Sir George Williams University (1926) and Loyola College (1896). 

Concordia University is situated in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is famous as a public research university. Followed by the merger of Sir George Williams College and Loyola College back in 1974, Concordia University is counted among the three universities in Quebec where English is the primary instructional language, besides McGill and Bishops.

The university has been accorded with two campuses located in a stretch of about 7 kilometers; Sir George Williams campus is the main campus, located at the Quartier Concordia, which is a neighbor to Downtown Montreal. On the other hand, Loyola Campus is situated in Notre-Dame-De-Grace, a residential district. Concordia is privileged to offer 400 undergraduate courses and 200 graduate programs in several institutions, schools of graduate studies, colleges, and centers.

Concordia University Acceptance Rate 

At Concordia University, applicants are invited to apply for three intakes as in June, October, and February. The university asks international applicants to submit their documents regarding specific courses they want to pursue before the deadline because the waiting period in Canada is way too long.

Concordia University Division 

Concordia University mainly has two campuses segregated by 7 kilometers. One campus is named Sir George Williams Campus and is located in the downtown core of Montreal.
