The Northwest Shoals Community College is a public community college that has two campuses in the State of Alabama, in Phil Campbell and Muscle Shoals. Northwest Shoals Community College Admissions 

You can apply to Northwest Shoals Community College when you want to start college for the first time, or you want to transfer from another college or go back to school after a long break. The college has a portal link, MyNW-SCC through which you may submit all your admission documents and fill out your application form online. You can also submit the documents in person or through the mail with a valid government-issued picture ID.


 The Northwest-Shoals Community College offers open admissions to all qualifying domestic and international students. For admission, you must fulfill the minimum standard required by the Alabama Community College System. There is no form of discrimination in the college based on race, gender, nationality, sex, color, or age. The college authorities will go through all the applicants’ identity documents before they allow you admission into their courses.

 However, for several health education programs like nursing and practical nursing, medical assisting technology, radiology and sonography, and emergency medical services, direct admission to the college does not imply acceptance. The Shoals Campus stretches 110 acres, and the Phil Campbell Campus is situated on 100 acres of land and is 30 miles to the south of the Shoals Campus. The college is one of the cultural hubs of Alabama, and they offer several career-oriented and academic programs. 

 The Patriot Centre is made to accommodate 1300 people. There are several Northwest Shoals Community College scholarships for all students. However, the scholarships are only available to students for associate and certificate programs who show proof of eligibility.

  • A TOEFL score of 61.
