Notre Dame is a Catholic university in South Bend, Indiana, about 100 miles south of Chicago. Most students prefer to live in one of the 30 single-sex dormitories. Because there is no Greek life on campus, the residence halls act as social hubs. ‘Legends’, an on-campus eatery, and the pub are favorite places for sports fans to watch games. The “Fighting Irish” of Notre Dame have roughly 20 varsity NCAA Division- I athletic teams and are noted for their successful football programs. Besides, over half of the students spend at least one semester studying abroad.

Notre Dame is subdivided into eight schools and colleges, with the College of Arts and Letters being the largest. The Mendoza College of Business and Law School and School of Architecture are among Notre Dame’s graduate and professional schools.

Admission Rate

The acceptance rate is the most important thing to check if you wish to enroll in a University. This shows how competitive the institution is and how they follow their criteria. University of Notre Dame’s acceptance rate is 17.7 percent. Only 18 out of every 100 applications are selected every year.

This proves that the school is pretty selective. Thus, it’s essential to meet Notre Dame’s average GPA, SAT, and ACT standards to pass their initial selection round. Besides, it is also necessary to showcase academic preparation. You won’t get admitted to Notre Dame if you don’t match the Notre Dame acceptance rate. After you’ve passed this stage, you’ll need to convince Notre Dame application readers (examiners) with your essays, extracurricular activities, reference letters, among other things, to ensure admission.

Notre Dame GPA Requirements

Several schools or colleges stipulate the least GPA required for admission. But, this is generally the least needed to register an application form without being canceled immediately. Thus, the only GPA criterion that matters is the one that will permit you to get into the University.

parallel

Notre Dame’s average GPA is 4.06. Notre Dame expects students to be top-ranked, with such a GPA. You’ll need A’s in all your classes to compete with other applicants. Besides, you should register for complex subjects, such as IB or AP courses, to show that college-level academics are easy.

SAT and ACT Requirements

Each school or college has its own set of testing methods. But, the SAT or ACT score is needed by most schools. Some might also need SAT subject evaluations to be considered in the Notre Dame acceptance rate 2021 list. To register at Notre Dame, you must pass either the SAT or the ACT. But, more importantly, you must have an outstanding score for a strong application.

Notre Dame SAT Requirements

Several universities and colleges say that they don’t have an SAT score cutoff, but the reality is that they do. This is based on an average mark for the school. Notre Dame’s acceptance rate for SAT score is 1475 on a 1600-point scale.

Notre Dame ACT Requirements

Notre Dame, like the SAT, does not have a rigid ACT cutoff. But if your score is too less, your application will be rejected. According to Notre Dame acceptance rate 2020, the median ACT score is 34. Notre Dame is competitive with this score. The ACT marks for the 25th percentile is 33, and that for the 75th percentile is 35.

parallel

Even though Notre Dame may state that there is no minimal ACT score, if you enroll with a 33 or less, you will have difficulty getting admitted unless there is something extraordinary in your application form. Since many candidates with a 34 or higher, a 33 will appear inadequate. Thus, as per the Notre Dame acceptance rate 2020 evaluation, you should score more than 33 to increase your chances of admission.
