In order to be eligible for admission to the University of Georgia College undergraduate program, prospective students are required to provide the following requirements:

  • Applicants must have finished their high school education abroad in a manner that is comparable to that of a college preparatory high school program in the United States.
  • Transfer candidates who have completed 30 or above semester credit hours are needed to maintain a grade point average of at least 2.5. (On a 4.0 grading scale).
  • The International Education Center at the University of Georgia College reviews the educational records that have been submitted and translates the curriculum that has been done in the past into US grade equivalents.
  • You will be asked to provide your ACT or SAT results if you do not have any previous college credit that may be transferred. Students who have transferred from another school and have completed fewer than 30 credit hours of work at their current institution are also eligible.
  • Eligibility to continue enrolment at a current or past academic institution means not being excluded, suspended, or dismissed from the educational program.
  • Sufficient financial support in accordance with the requirement outlined in the declaration form of finances of the applicant.
