A Hemispherical bowl of 36 cm internal diameter contains a liquid. This liquid is to be filled into right circular cone shaped bottles of 3 cm radius and 18 cm height , How many bottles are required to empty the bowl ?

    We have a hemispherical bowl of 36cm diameter.
    So, The volume will be

    V equals 2 over 3 pi open parentheses 36 over 2 close parentheses cubed
    equals 2 over 3 pi left parenthesis 18 right parenthesis cubed

    = 3888πcm3
    And Volume of right circular cone shaped bottles

    V equals pi r squared h

    equals pi 32 cross times 18

    = 162π

    Now,

    n equals fraction numerator text  Vol of hemisphere  end text over denominator text  Vol of cone  end text end fraction

    equals fraction numerator 3888 pi over denominator 162 pi end fraction

    = 24
