Question

The measure of an angle is 5 times the measure of its complement. Find the measure of each angle.

hintHint:

  • Complimentary angles are defined as two angles whose sum is 90 degrees. The measure of angle that equal to its compliment is 45 degrees.

The correct answer is: 75^0

    Solution:
    • We have been given in the question that the measure of an angle is 5 times the measure of its complement.
    • We have to find the measure of each angle.
    Step 1 of 1:
We have given two angle form linear pair and one angle measure five times the other
    So,
Let the one angle be x
The other angle will be 5x.
    Since, both form linear pair.
    So,

    Therefore,
    One angle is x = 15o
    And other angle will be
