Question

The area of a rectangle is given. Use factoring to find the expressions for the missing dimensions.

hintHint:

  • The area of rectangle is the product of its length and width.

The correct answer is: The length will be 5ab & Width will be 2ab2 + 3b +4a

    • We have been given a diagram of rectangle in the question
    • We have also been given the area of the rectangle that is-
    • We have to use factoring to find the expressions for the missing dimensions.
    Step 1 of 1 :
We have given the area of a rectangle
    After factorization, we will get

     10 a squared b cubed plus 15 a b squared plus 20 a squared b

    5 a b open parentheses 2 a b squared plus 3 b plus 4 a close parentheses
    So,
    The length will be 5ab
    Width will be 2ab+ 3b +4a
