It is given that diameter of the wheel = 98 cm
$rightwards double arrow$ Radius =
= 49 cm
Circumference of the wheel = 2 p r
= 2 $cross times 22 over 7$ × 49
= 308 cm
a. Distance covered by the wheel = 7.7 km
= 7.7 × 100000
= 770000
No of times wheel rotate = $fraction numerator text total distance covered by the wheel end text over denominator text circumference of the wheel; end text end fraction$
= $770000 over 308$ = 2500 rotations
