Explanation :- Given the two lines are parallel and two are transversals .

As alternate interior angles are equal we get, z° = 20°

∴z = 20

Using sum of angles in triangle is 180° we get ,

20°+ 30°+ 2x°=180° (sum of angles in a triangle)

2x°+50° = 180°

2x° = 130° x° = 65°

∴ x = 65

2x° = y° ( vertically opposite angles are equal)

130° = y°

∴ y = 130
