NEET 2023Application form correction

NEET 2023 is planned to be held in the first week of May 2023. The exam is being conducted in 11 languages. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will provide the NEET application form correction facility after the submission of the NEET 2023 application form. The NEET application correction will be done online. Eligible candidates who will register themselves for the NEET 2023 exam will be able to edit their details in the NEET-UG 2023 correction window and submit the correction registration fee within the given dates, if applicable. NEET 2023 Application Correction Window 

To make corrections in ones NEET application form, aspirants have to log in to their NEET applicant portal. The applicant can then log in with their application number and date of birth/password. Aspirants can correct some details, including name, date of birth, choice of exam center, and uploading images. The correction facility for NEET 2023 will be given only one time to the candidates. So, candidates require to fill the application form carefully. 

Particulars to be Edited Candidates are allowed to correct their details submitted in NEET 2023 application form. They can make correction in the following data only: 

Personal Details: Candidate Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of birth, Gender, Category, Nationality, State of eligibility (for 15% all India quota), Disability Status, Identification type, and Identification number. 

Medium of Question Paper: Candidates can make changes in the choice of medium of the question paper. 

Choice of Examination Centre/City: Candidates can make the correction in their examination centre/city choice. 

Academic Details: Candidates can correct the marks obtained in Class 12th. They can make changes in the school board of class 12th / qualifying examination; the name of the school/college (passed/ appearing); address of the school/college; Place of study. Plus, they can edit the qualifying examination code, year of passing/appearing class 12 qualifying exam, and roll number of class 12th. 

How can you Make Corrections in NEET Application Form 2023? 

Candidates are advised to make the correction carefully by following the steps below. 

Step 1: Visit the NEET official site https://ntaneet.nic.in/. 

Step 2: Click on “Candidate login” and enter the application number and date of birth/ password. 

Step 3: Click on the link for correction stating, ‘Click here for corrections in NEET (UG)-2023 Application’. 

Step 4: Edit/ change the filled details in the NEET application form. 

Step 5: Cross-check the corrected fields in the preview section. There is no second chance will be provided to make the corrections. 

Step 6: Click on the submit button and take a printout of the correction slip for reference and record. 

In case of changes in category, candidates will be required to pay additional fees. The payment will be made online through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking before the last date of the NEET correction window. 

 NEET Correction Form 2021: How to Make Image Correction? 

In case of the discrepancy in the uploaded photograph and signature, NTA will mail the registered candidates for image correction. Candidates will make the correction in their images by visiting the official website ntaneet.nic.in, in a given time frame. 

  • Steps to make NEET photo correction 

Step 1: Visit the NEET official website ntaneet.nic.in. 

Step 2: Click on the ‘NEET candidate login’ link and enter the application number and password. 

Step 3: Re-upload the scanned photograph and signature. 

Step 4: Submit the corrections. An OTP will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number. 

Step 5: Download the correction slip for future references and record. 

If candidates who registered for NEET 2023 will not receive any mail or SMS from NTA regarding the mistakes in the NEET 2023 application form, they must re-check their application form. They can go through the NEET official website, log in themselves, and cross-verify all the details in their form carefully. If they find any mistake, they must immediately make the corrections through the NEET correction window facility. 

After the NEET correction window 2023, the National Testing Agency will issue admit card for the NEET 2023 exam. The admit card entails the candidates’ personal details, reporting timing, address of the test centre, etc. Candidates can download the NEET UG 2023 admit card by logging in to their application number and password/date of birth. It is noted that eligible candidates must carry a hard copy of their admit cards and valid id proofs. 

 NEET 2023 Application Form 

NTA will soon release the NEET 2023 application form date along with the brochure at ntaneet.nic.in. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria of NEET 2023 will be permitted to fill NEET 2023 application form. To sit in the medical entrance exam, eligible candidates must complete NEET 2023 registration on or before the last date. To fill the NEET application form, candidates are required to follow these steps: 

– Fill the application form, 

– Upload scanned passport size photograph and signature, 

– Make the payment of application fees and  

– Take a printout of the confirmation page. 

 What to Keep Ready When Filling the NEET 2023 Application Form? 

– Valid mobile number and email address. 

– Class 10 and 12 details – mark sheet, certificate, roll number, school address, and other related details. 

– Father’s and Mother’s name. 

– Class 12 roll number issued by the Board,  

– Valid government id cards such as Aadhaar, Passport, and others. 

– Scanned passport size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, etc. 

– Credit/Debit card, Net Banking, and UPI payment gateway to make an online payment. 

 How to Retrieve Password for NEET 2023 Application Form? 

To retrieve the password for the NEET 2023 application form, there are two options available that candidates can utilize. 

When clicking on the “Forgot password” option in the candidate’s login, candidates will see two options on their screen – OTP and Security Question. 

Retrieving the password through OTP, candidates need to enter: 

– NEET 2023 application number 

– Candidate’s Name 

– Date of Birth 

– Security pin 

Retrieving through Security Question candidates will require to enter:  

– NEET application number 

– Candidate’s Name 

– Date of Birth 

– Security Question 

– Answer 

– Security pin

NEET is conducted to admit students into undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions.
