Age Requirements for Filling Up NEET Registration Form
Any aspiring NEET candidate must have completed 17 years of age in the year that they want to appear for the exam. For instance, those who wish to give NEET 2021 must have a minimum age of 17 years as of December 31, 2021. Any person who is above the age of 17 years can sit in the exam since there is no maximum age limit.
Nationality of The Candidate

ID Proof Needed
Students must have their Aadhar Card, or any other identity proof approved by the Government of India, handy while completing the NEET application process. However, it is not mandatory.

The NEET registration fee for the General category is INR 1500. This fee is INR 1400 and INR 800 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL and SC/ST/PwD/Transgender categories respectively.

NEET Registration and Application Form Filling – Detailed Analysis
If you plan to appear for NEET 2021, follow these steps to complete the NEET registration and application process:
NEET Registration
First things first, to complete NEET registration and application, candidates need to wait for the release of the exam form on its official website. After its release, they need to visit the exam website and register for the exam. The candidates need to make sure that they check all the details and the eligibility of the exam before doing so.
Once they have read all of the information, they can proceed to apply online for the NEET exam. It will take them to the registration page. Here, the candidates will need to fill in details like:
- Name
- Mother’s name
- Father’s name
- Gender
- Date of birth
- Category
- Nationality
- State
- Identity type
- ID proof number
- Valid mobile number
- Email ID
All aspirants must ensure that the details like name, mother’s name, father’s name, and date of birth should match the details in their class 10 certificate. Once done, simply click on ‘Preview & Next.’ If you do not belong to the Union Territories of Kashmir or Ladakh, click on next. Alternatively, the above residents need to fill a self-declaration form for the 15% AIQ quota seats.
Once done, create a password for NEET registration login, add a security question, enter the OTP received, and click on the ‘submit button. After this, a provisional registration number will appear on the screen that every candidate must note. This number, along with the password, will act as the login details later.
Filling the Form
For this, use the NEET registration login details – provisional registration number and password. After the login, fill in the following:
- Personal details
- Choice of language
- Three exam cities of preference in order of priority
- Academic details of classes 10, 11, and 12 or equivalent
- Residential details
- Correspondence address
- Parent’s qualification
- Occupation
- Annual income
- Declaration of dress code
- Security pin
Once done, click on ‘Preview and submit’ to check the details before submitting them. Make corrections if something is wrong. Otherwise, click on the ‘Final submit button.’
Documents Needed
After NEET registrations and application form filling, aspirants need to upload some documents. These are:
Photograph
- It should be a postcard size latest photograph.
- The candidate’s 80% face and ear should be visible in it.
- The photograph must have a white background.
- At its bottom, it should have the candidate’s name along with the date of capture.
- This image’s size should be 50 kb to 300 kb, and its dimensions need to be 4 cm X 6 cm.
- Lastly, it needs to be in JPG/JPEG format.
Signature
It should be on a white background and signed with a black pen. Also, make sure it should be in running handwriting. It needs to have a size of 4 kb to 30 kb and should be in JPG/JPEG format.
Left-hand thumb impression
It again must be on white paper but with blue ink. The size for this one should be 10 kb to 50 kb, and the format needs to be JPG/JPEG.
Class 10 passing certificate
This certificate must be a scanned image with a size of 100 kb to 400 kb having a JPG/JPEG format.

After the NEET registration and application form filling, students only need to pay the NEET fee. It can be done via debit/credit card, net banking, or e-challan.
