  3. 44
  4. 52

Hint:

To find the distance covered by car using  2 fraction numerator 3 over denominator 4 end fraction liters of petrol ,We multiply the 2 fraction numerator 3 over denominator 4 end fraction with number of kilometers run by car with 1 liter of petrol.

The correct answer is: 44

Distance covered by the car using 1 liters of petrol  = 16 km
So, Distance covered by the car using 2 fraction numerator 3 over denominator 4 end fraction liters of petrol equals 16 cross times open parentheses 2 fraction numerator 3 over denominator 4 end fraction close parentheses

covert to improper fraction to simplify  using formula

Improper fraction = fraction numerator open parentheses text Whole number × Denominator end text close parentheses text  + Numerator end text over denominator text Denominator end text end fraction
equals 16 cross times open parentheses fraction numerator 4 cross times 2 plus 3 over denominator 4 end fraction close parentheses
equals 16 cross times open parentheses fraction numerator 8 plus 3 over denominator 4 end fraction close parentheses
equals 16 cross times open parentheses fraction numerator 11 over denominator 4 end fraction close parentheses
equals fraction numerator 176 over denominator 4 end fraction equals 44 k m
Therefore, Distance covered by the car using 2 fraction numerator 3 over denominator 4 end fraction liters of petrol is 44 km.
