Bard College – Admissions, Rankings And Acceptance Rates

Requirements for the SAT and ACT:

Although Bard College hasn’t started a policy on SAT/ACT requirements, it is probably tested flexible because it has published regarding average SAT/ACT scores. At Bard College, the average GPA is 3.78. Bard College is, therefore, very competitive in terms of GPAs.

To enrol at Bard College with a 3.78 GPA, you must be above average in the high school class. You will require a mixture of A and B grades, emphasising A grades. If you have taken any AP or IB courses, this will increase your adjusted GPA and indicate your college readiness.

Bard: A Reputable Music School? Ranking of Bard College-Conservatory of Music

The Bard College Conservatory is a top-notch music school, no doubt.

Bard is currently ranked #56 in the nation’s top 100 music schools, according to Niche’s ranking of the most notable colleges for practising the art of music. However, given the calibre of the school’s students and faculty, some may legitimately contend that Bard deserves a much higher grade than this.

In addition, a large portion of the Bard College-Conservatory of Music faculty also teaches at important music schools along the East Coast, like Juilliard. Bard is arguably the best example of combining a top-notch liberal arts education with a fantastic music program.

Bard College Deadlines:

International students must be wary of the US colleges’ admission cycles and intake periods. To be considered for admission, they must finish the application and complete all necessary paperwork before the deadlines.

The following dates are the deadlines for international undergraduate applicants to Bard College. For Early Decision, admission notification is made available by the end of December; for Regular Decision, it is made available by the end of March.

Education Costs:

Bard University has the following costs associated with attendance: tuition ($50,704), room and board ($14,540), and other fees ($680), for a total of $65,924. Health insurance is a requirement for all students and is offered by the school for an additional $1,396 a year.

The Bard College website does not explicitly list books and personal expenses. The average school spends about $800 on books and about $2000 on personal expenses yearly. Attending Bard College is expensive, especially since students pursuing double majors naturally take five years to finish both programs. You will receive two degrees for the money.
