Queen’s University was founded by a royal charter from Victoria, making it one of the oldest universities in Canada. The university was founded on October 16th, 1841, and is a prestigious institution of higher learning in Kingston, Ontario. On March 7, 1842, the first courses were held with 13 students and two instructors for ministry training.  

There is a School of Graduate Studies, a School of Health Sciences, a School of Engineering and Applied Science, a Faculty of Business, a Faculty of Law, a School of Policy Studies, a School of Law, a School of Education, and a School of Health Sciences at the institution.

There are three terms—fall, winter, and summer—during which Queen’s University accepts applications. The University’s entrance policy might be somewhat selective, with an acceptance rate of 89%.   • A minimum score of 6.5 bands on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or 88 points on the International English Language Testing System (TOEFL-IBT) is needed for admission for international students. Queen’s University Tuition

Queen’s University Admissions

The Ontario University Application Center (OUAC) is responsible for processing all applications to the undergraduate and graduate programs at Ontario Universities. You may apply for a job outside of Ontario by going to the OUAC website and searching for the “OUAC 105” category.

This section manages applications from outside of both Ontario and the nation. The steps involved in the application procedure are as follows:

  • The candidate should submit their application using the OUAC’s online system.
  • PSE and SE are required documents for the applicant to submit.
  • They must activate the Queen’s NetID and then use it to log in to the SOLUS Student Center to get information on the papers and other prerequisites.
  • The SOLUS account allows for the tracking of the current status of the application.
  • They are required to present evidence of their proficiency in the English language in the form of a TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE test score or an equivalent.
