Increasing Your Chances of Getting into Boston University

You can see what GPA you need for the desired college and then work your way backward to figure out how many A’s and B’s you will need and what subjects.
  2. SAT/ACT Score: Even though BU has made these exam options, having a high score in SAT/ACT will tilt the scales in your favor. If you are not submitting your SAT/ACT score, you will need to have a very high GPA and a very strong profile. It is thus advised to submit SAT/ACT scores. To score well, you should start your preparations on time and take tuition if necessary.
  3. Counselor Recommendation: This is a mandatory requirement at BU. Therefore you should be on good terms with your school teachers and counselors. Look for additional responsibilities outside the classroom. This will increase your chances of getting a glowing recommendation from an academic authority.

Note:- In case you are applying for Boston University Financial Aid, to offset Boston University’s cost, you need to complete and submit a CSS Profile and FAFSA. The deadline for the same can be found on the official University website. You must be a permanent US citizen and an incoming first-year student to be eligible for financial aid.
